JAWS

Big, bad and burly to boot, metal-mouthed Jaws is a first-choice minion for any aspiring S.C.U.M. agent, the teeth being an obvious tactical advantage. This unscrupulous brute can bite through practically anything - an ability he isn't slow to advertise. That's maybe because, sadly for Jaws, he's pretty slow in almost every other respect, and is prone to asking the sort of questions to which the average two-year-old knows the (patently obvious) answer. He's often spotted spreading mischief and mayhem with dimunitive co-conspirator Nick Nack. Together, the two form somewhat of a comedy double-act, regularly falling on top of one another and bickering like schoolboys.

In every sense, Jaws is a bit of a no-brainer; there's a fair likelihood he'll appear in any given installment (he's in around a third of the total episodes), and he's at his best when he's most threatening. His terrifying attributes are best portrayed in early episodes (The Beginning, Plunder Down Under, Never Give a Villain a Fair Shake) and his impact greatly diminishes later on in the series, particularly when paired up in a bungling comedy duo with Nick Nack. His stupidity means that Jaws is often used as a device by which his superiors can explain their plan to him in a manner the audience is guaranteed to understand.
