SPOILER

Rough, gruff and gritty, Spoiler is S.C.U.M.'s premier purveyor of high-speed thefts and equally fast getaways, usually leaving a trail of destruction (and heavy tyre-marks) in his wake. A proficient motorcyclist, he's the laser-toting leader of a fearsome biker gang, and all of his assigned tasks are carried out from the seat of his S.C.U.M.-branded cycle. Subtlety is not a word in Spoiler's vocabulary; he's a straightforward kind of guy, preferring brute force and intimidation to subterfuge and trickery - and preferably with a large explosion thrown in for good measure. He also has a quick temper and authority issues, taking his more highly-strung superiors' egotistical rants with a pinch of salt.

A relatively late edition to the S.C.U.M. roll-call, gravel-voiced Spoiler enjoyed a few appearances in the second half of the run, working on each occasion for a different villain: Baron von Skarin in Scottish Mist, Doctor No in No Time to Lose, and Doctor Derange in Monument to S.C.U.M. Bringing a degree of both menace and comedy to rapidly deteriorating proceedings, Spoiler was evidently an afterthought: he is the only recurring character not to feature at all in any of the tie-in material, and the animation team clearly aren't familiar with him either, painting him with entirely different coloured clothes and hair in 'No Time to Lose' from in his other two appearances.
